Jeremy Collins
Kansas CIty, MO
I was born in Kansas City and the medium I am most known for is my pen and ink maps, intricate landscapes and activism-related work. KC Magazine named me one of KC’s “most influential citizens” in 2013 for my work in response to the Sandy Hook shootings. I have taught illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute under Steve Mayse. I was honored to be a speaker at a recent Hallmark all-staff Creative Leadership Symposium. My work is largely based in print, but increasingly public via large scale murals. One of my more well-known pieces locally is adorning the walls of Corvino Restaurant in the crossroads. I have many installations throughout the US; public, private and corporate. You can see more at my instagram @jer.collins and online at jercollins.com
