Kathleen Murray
Kansas City, MO
Kathleen Murray is an award-winning Kansas City-based illustrator, designer, and muralist. She received a BFA in Printmaking and Graphic Design from Kansas State University in 2014 and lives in Kansas City as a self-employed artist–working with clients both locally and across the country. Her primary influences are in the pop art movement and painters like Wayne Thiebaud who helped inspire her organic, dynamic, and colorful style. She loves calling Kansas City home, and being part of the city’s art community. Alongside her contributions to the Parade of Hearts, a few of her murals can be found locally at Deep Space Co-op, MMGY Global, and Virgil’s Plant Shop, with additional examples of her work found on her website at the button below.
