Sara Engman-Slaughter

Sara Engman-Slaughter is an artist, illustrator, and freelance graphic/web designer working out of Kansas City, MO. She is a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL, where she learned classical painting and illustration techniques. A bit of a dabbler, she likes to try new things and stretch her creative muscles. However, she has always been fascinated with the hustle and bustle of the city, and the way in which it makes the human beings within it seem small. This idea comes through in much of her work. No stranger to ambitious projects, she likes to create large scale projects and bodies of work to fulfill a creative idea or ideal. She is very excited to be working with the Parade of Hearts on this wonderful project!
