Who can attend?

We welcome ALL!  Kids, families, friends come see the 100 hearts and have an amazing time filled with unique experiences and a lot of fun!

Do I need my tickets onsite?

For the fastest entry, please have access to your digital ticket or bring printed copies with you.  Can’t find your ticket?  Click the link below, click the can’t locate your ticket button and you have it resent to you.

Are walk-ups available?
  • Day-of tickets will be available for purchase at the registration desk
    • Payment options include credit card, Apple Pay, or cash
  • Ticket prices are as follows:
    • Kids age 2 and under: Free
    • Kids ages 3-12: $5
    • Kids ages 13 and older and adults: $10
  • There is a credit card servicing fee of $1/per adult ticket and $.50/per child ticket
  • We are unable to accept personal checks
What should we wear?
  • Casual attire is perfect for the occasion, shorts, jeans, etc.
  • Showcasing that we are truly the ‘heartland’ is the vibe for the event and we love a great heart-themed attire!
Are there prohibited items?

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • No outside food or beverages will be allowed. Food and beverage purchased from concessions are only allowed
  • Weapons, knives, firearms, or any other weapons of any kind
  • Illegal drugs
  • Live animals or pets, however, service animals are allowed
  • Skates, skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, bicycles, etc
  • Drones and/or any flying objects
  • Any other item deemed unacceptable by event/building management
What items are permitted or required?
  • Food and beverages purchased only at American Royal concessions
  • Strollers (free and clear of bags)
  • Service animals

Required: No entry without full attire, including shirt and shoes

Will there be security checks?

For the safety of all guests, security checks will be conducted upon entry to the venue, this includes a bag check. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this process.

Is there a bag policy?

Bag checks will be conducted at the entrance before check-in. Then, proceed through the doors to scan or purchase tickets. We recommend bringing a clear bag to expedite the check-in process. Your cooperation and patience are appreciated.


Non-Essential Items: We kindly request that you leave any non-essential items at home or in your car. This includes large bags, backpacks, and any items that may pose a safety risk or disrupt the enjoyment of others.

Can I come and go as I please throughout the day?

Yes, guests will be given a hand stamp for re-entry.

How do I get there?

Event will be inside the American Royal Center located at 1701 American Royal Court., Kansas City, MO 64102 in the West Bottoms.  

Look for the large digital direction sign as you arrive at American Royal, saying, Parade of Hearts Parking this Way.

Parking is Free. Enter through main entrance (north side of building). 

Ticketing and Entrance located on the main level. 

Will there be food and beverage available?

Concession stands will be available in the main corridor of American Royal, outside of Governor’s Expo.  You are allowed to bring concession food & drink into the Parade of Hearts event. (see prohibited items regarding outside food/beverage below).

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Yes, the venue is ADA-accessible.  Wheelchairs are not provided but certainly, any ADA equipment is allowed to be brought in and used.

What is the photo/video policy onsite?

Amatur photos or videos with mobile devices are allowed.

Can public media outlets have access to the event?

All authorized public media must contact Will Gregory at for access.

Notice of photography, audio, and video recording at Parade of Hearts events

When attending Parade of Hearts events, all attendees enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to photography, audio recording, and video recording for use by Parade of Hearts and representatives for news, webcasts, and promotional purposes. Images and media may be used for future event promotion. You release Parade of Hearts and all involved from liability connected with the use of interviews, photographs, and recordings.

Expectations of guests

Parade of Hearts and American Royal will uphold the right to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all guests. Should our policies be infringed upon or disruptive behavior occur, we reserve the right to refuse service or request the departure of the individual concerned.
