87th Bus Stop & Katz

The bus stop is a place in my neighborhood that I travel by every day. They are my people. I love them, so I paint them. An old photo of the Katz Drug Store reminded me of my grandfather taking me there as a little girl. It was such a special place, and NOT just because he would let me buy something. It’s like yesterday.
