"Bleeding Hearts of the World" was created to commemorate the world we lost and celebrate the one we've gained. As members of this new society, we have a responsibility to move forward with a sense of acceptance and tolerance. No matter the person or their language, the members of our community are our family. And one day, they may be all we have. Covid-19 and its aftermath have affected every corner of this planet. This piece celebrates and pays homage to the spirit of friendship, acceptance, and community that carried us through the most turbulent times in recent human history. "Bleeding Hearts of the World" displays messages of love and inspiration depicted in several languages to represent the various of cultures and life experiences of the people who contributed to its completion.

Kerry is also an active member in the LGBTQ+ community of Kansas City and aims to inspire creativity and self-expression regardless of an individual's race, gender, sexual orientation or social/economic background.
