I have designed a geographical map of Kansas City with an explosion of native flowers coming from the heart of downtown and roots branching out throughout the streets. My design, called "Bloom Where You Are Planted", is unique to Kansas City because of the indigenous flowers and plants I’ve used but also in representation of the resilience of the KC residents. Like the native wildflowers that grow in Kansas and Missouri, people who were born and raised in KC can not only overcome any obstacle that life throws at us, but we bloom and flourish from those challenges. We can make anything work because we are KC strong! Plus, no matter where life may take us, we will always have strong KC roots.
