Our Negro Leagues Museum and Kansas City Monarchs history is amazing and important and should be celebrated and honored at every opportunity. Buick O’Neil was an incredible person and I can’t think of a better enduring symbol for our city and the spirit of Kansas City. If nothing else, I hope that someone who might not know a lot about Buck O’Neil and his legacy would lookin into it and pass it on to future generations.

Seth Smith
Seth Smith attended the University of Kansas graduating in 2003 with a degree in painting and printmaking. Following graduation, he moved to the Kansas City area where he now resides and works. He has built up bodies of work both abstract and representational over the years and has collec tors, both private and corporate, around the globe. He has been the featured artist at a number of national art shows and events including the Plaza Art Fair and Brookside Art Annual. In 2006, the H&R Block World Headquarters acquired a piece of Seth's for their permanent collection And the University of Kansas Business School acquired work for their permanent collection.
