KC has been a key component to the history of jazz. Jazz continues to electrify the city from lounges and speak easy's to the jazz district itself, KC can't get enough of this beautiful music! As a fellow musician, I wanted to create a piece that could honor the energy and life that jazz has brought to the world and to Kansas City.

Kobi Nolan
Kobi Nolan received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute as a painting major and entrepreneurship minor. Kobi works in several mediums including, but not limited to, paint, printmaking, sculpture, photography, and graphic design. Kobi has completed several murals in the Kansas City area, has shown work at the InterUrban ArtHouse, and was published in the Dead Peasant Journal.
