Artist Spotlight

Lynn Meredith
I am an American artist recognized as the original lead singer for the rock band ‘Kansas’ and the current singer of ‘Proto Kaw’ the re-formed version of the first ‘Kansas’. I am also known as a painter for my abstract works that deal with overcoming obstacles in life. I was a 2022 Parade of Hearts Artist and have been selected as a featured artist at the Tim Murphy Art Gallery in Kansas City this September.
Much of my art deals with defeating obstacles, specifically cancer with imagery that expresses hope, healing and triumph in my paintings. Many of my other works include multi-layered fields of color, texture, and patterns inspired by my observations of society and other’s lives and how people respond to their situations with positive energy, spirituality and hope.
