Kansas City Kaleidoscopes

Kansas City Kaleidoscopes. During the winter last year, I was working with single reference photos to kit different methods of creating landscapes. And one of the methods I came up with was using brightly colored triangles to create the local landscape, getting the colors, the essence, and the energy. And that is the series that I called the Kaleidoscopes. As an artist, I feel like color and light are what we’re ready for. We just had two years of darkness and feeling overwhelmed by everything that was going on. And the bright colors really helped bring everybody back into a higher level of creativity and feeling good energy.
