Of The Prairie
"Of The Prairie" was created to encourage viewers to learn more about the natural land we live on, the benefits it has, and hopefully engage people to do their part in the effort to preserve the last remaining expanses of prairie in our country. The Tallgrass prairie once covered 170 million acres of North America, but within a generation most of it has been transformed into farms, cities, and towns. Today less than 4% remains intact, mostly in the Kansas Flint Hills.
