Perseverance Through Pets
Since COVID-19 first locked our community down last March, a mainstay has been our furry companions at home—our pets! We depended on them more than ever as we rode out the virus in isolation. My concept pays tribute to them, and our pet-centric city. With the addition of the new KC Pet Project campus, and other well known community centers for animals such as Wayside Waifs, the Kansas City metro’s commitment to finding forever homes for pets cannot be understated. I propose featuring cats on one side and dogs on the other, utilizing a color palette derived from the City of Kansas City Missouri’s own branding.
