We Are Monarchs

My design is inspired by the Kansas City Monarchs and the positive and negative space created by a monarch butterfly’s wing. There is an emphasis on repetition and movement throughout the design meant to attract the viewers eye. The vibrant colors help to create a playful adaptation of the historic baseball franchise and reinforces an optimistic view during a stressful global climate. My design is meant to encourage people around the city to stay positive and keep moving forward during these times.
