We’re From Here

Pulling from the personal experiences of growing up within Kansas City, in both Kansas and Missouri, has fostered the artist’s involvement in community building and sharing the colors, lives and experiences within the Latino community with others. There is power in visibility, and by sharing this story, the artist hopes that young Latino kids see this artwork as empowering.
