Mr. & Mrs. F.L. Schlagle Library

The Mr. & Mrs. F. L. Schlagle Library and Environmental Learning Center is one of only two public library environmental learning centers in the United States. The library is the result of a unique partnership between the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library, USD 500, and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County Parks and Recreation Department. The library is located on the west side of Wyandotte County Lake Park, just north of Leavenworth Road and east of I-435. Parking is available in the lot directly in front of the library.
