These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Parade of Hearts website, mobile experiences, maps, and related services (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
About the Site
The Site provides information and interactive experiences related to the Parade of Hearts, including maps of heart locations, photos and descriptions of heart sculptures, artists, communities, events, attractions, promotions, news, and related content. The Site also allows users to create a My Hearts account to check in at heart locations, save hearts, upload photos, and explore nearby experiences.
Eligibility & Accounts
Users aged 18 years or older may create a My Hearts account. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will use the Site responsibly. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Your use of the Site, including newsletter signups and contact forms, is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
User Content
You may upload content such as text, photos or other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.
By uploading User Content, you grant Parade of Hearts a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote that content in connection with the Site and Parade of Hearts’ programs, including marketing, communications, and media.
You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Content Moderation
Parade of Hearts may review, moderate, remove, or disable User Content or accounts at its discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including safety, legal compliance, or violations of these Terms.
Location-Based & Third-Party Information
The Site may include maps, directions, event details, attractions, promotions, and other location-based information that relies on third-party services (such as mapping tools or QR technology).
This information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or change without notice. Parade of Hearts does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or content.
Use at Your Own Risk
Visiting physical locations, attending events, following directions, or interacting with third parties is done at your own risk. Parade of Hearts is not responsible for injuries, losses, accidents, or damages that may occur in connection with your participation in any activities referenced on the Site.
Intellectual Property
All Site content, excluding User Content, including text, graphics, logos, maps, and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Parade of Hearts and may not be used without permission.
You may not upload any User Content which incorporates third party trade marks or copyright material without explicit authorization of the relevant rights holders. Trade marked and copyright material includes both registered and unregistered trade marks and copyrights, regardless of the geographic location of the relevant rights holders, and regardless of whether such use would otherwise constitute “fair use” or be otherwise legal. The site may, at its sole discretion, remove any User Content containing trade marks or copyright material, at its own discretion and without warning. The Site may request proof of authorization to use any trade marks or copyright material, and may decide whether such proof is sufficient to allow for use, at its own discretion.
Prohibited Use

- Upload unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content
- Scrape, copy, or exploit
- Site content without authorization Use the Site for fraudulent or abusive purposes

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” Parade of Hearts makes no warranties regarding accuracy, availability, or reliability of the Site or its content.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Parade of Hearts will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
Changes to These Terms
Parade of Hearts may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
