Kick Off Summer with National Day of Outdoor Play 

• Join us on Saturday, May 16, at Welborn Park for National Day of Outdoor Play. This exciting community event celebrates the start of summer with World Cup–themed games, outdoor recreation activities, and fun for all ages. Participants can enjoy inflatable sports games, soccer skills activities, a disc golf activity, scavenger hunts, yard games, and even special activities designed for dogs. The event will also feature a live DJ, free food, prizes, giveaways, and more throughout the day.
• Be sure to arrive by 10:00 a.m. for a special unveiling at the futsal courts to officially kick off the event, you won’t want to miss it.
• National Day of Outdoor Play encourages families and friends to get outside, stay active, and enjoy time together in the park. This free event is recommended for children ages 4 and up.
• Refreshments and swag will be available while supplies last.
