- “Food. Music. Culture. Community.” Unified Government of Wyandotte and Kansas City, Kansas Mayor Christal Watson invites everyone to join her for an afternoon of culture, fun, food and good vibes at the 1st annual "One World Wyandotte Festival" at the Municipal Building from 3PM- 7PM.
- The Office of Mayor & CEO Christal E. Watson is relaunching the Sister Cities Program with a bold and timely vision, to position Wyandotte County as a global hub for culture, commerce, and collaboration. The One World Wyandotte Festival is an annual celebration of the cultures, traditions, food, music, art, and people that make Wyandotte County one of the region’s most vibrant and diverse communities.
- Designed to bring residents and visitors together across backgrounds and generations, the festival transforms the community into a shared space of connection, learning, entertainment, and cultural pride. Through international vendors, performances, community organizations, youth activities, and Sister City participation, the festival reflects the spirit of unity behind the One World Wyandotte initiative; celebrating diversity not as something that divides us, but as one of our community’s greatest strengths.
