5th Annual Tackling Conflict Together Football Camp
- Boys and girls ages 7-18, are invited to join Chief "COACH" Karl Oakman and members of the KCKPD for a FREE one-day football camp that will improve their conflict resolution skills, both on and off the field.
- As we celebrate it's 5th year, this camp is only getting better. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with officers and create the basis for a positive relationship with police. Each training station at the camp with have a different skill and a different message related to life skills and dealing with conflict. The goal of the camp is to teach kids early on about conflict resolution, anger management and making good choices with the hopes that it will decrease some of the violence we are seeing far too often amongst young people in all our communities.
- Register today to secure your child's spot!
- All campers receive an official camp t-shirt, lunch, and a goody bag from our athletic equipment sponsor.
- The 2026 Football Camp- Tackling Conflict Together will be held at Bishop Ward High School Dorney Field Football Field, 1600 North 16th & Armstrong, KCKS 66102 with Kansas City, Kansas Police Chief Karl Oakman on Saturday, June 06, 2026, from 07:30 AM - 12:00 PM.
