July 4th Celebration
Join us in downtown Platte City for our July 4th Celebration, a free community event packed with fun for the whole family from 9:00 a.m. to noon. We’re bringing back the crowd-favorite Foam Blasters and will also have water slides, balloon twisters, bubbles, hot dogs, and free snacks like kettle corn, cotton candy, snow cones, and lemonade from food trucks, while supplies last. The event wraps up with one of our favorite hometown traditions, Fetterman’s 3rd Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest.
