What is the heart of Kansas City?

As an artist, I can only share my perspective of what the heart of Kansas City means to me.

To me, the heart of Kansas City is a heart of gold. I chose gold because gold is a symbol of wealth, power, and royalty. The symbols you see on the front of the heart represent the experiences that bring us all together. From Jazz music to country music, from the deer to the birds, from the Chiefs to the Current, and all the flowers and fountains in between, these symbols bring us together to share the all emotions of life. We are a community who celebrates together, who cries together, who laughs together, and who loves together. It’s what makes us wealthy, powerful, and royal.

We, all of us, are the royal family of Kansas City. We are all kings, queens, princes and princesses. Each one of us has the capabilities of doing whatever we want in our lives. We all are worthy. We are all chosen. The entire community is here to support you.

On the back of the heart, you will see a pattern of triangles. The triangles represent double A’s for the brand, AMERYUNart. Ameryun is my last name. There are triangles that point outward and inward. This represents the energy and Love we all feel. In order to send out energy and Love, we bring the energy and Love within ourselves.

What is your perspective? What does this heart of Kansas City mean to you? This is your experience. There are no wrong answers. Your emotions are valid. Your experience is valid.

To summarize, the heart of Kansas City is a heart of gold. A heart of gold is full of music, nature, art, team spirit, and fun.

Como artista, solo puedo compartir mi perspectiva de que significa la ciudad para mí.

Para mí, el corazón de Kansas City es un corazón de oro. Yo escogí oro porque oro es un symbol de poder, fuerza, y realeza. Los símbolos que veas en el fondo del corazón representan las experiencias que nos reúnen todos junto. Somos una comunidad que celebra juntos, llora juntos, ría juntos, y ama juntos. Es lo que nos haga poderoso, con fuerza, y real.

Nosotros todos somos la familia real de Kansas City. Todos somos reyes, reinas, príncipes y princesas. Cada uno de nosotros tenemos la capacidad a hacer lo que queremos en nuestras vidas. Todos somos dignos. Todos somos escogidos. Toda la comunidad esta aquí para ayudarte.

En el parte atrás del corazón veas un patrón de triángulos. Los triángulos representan la marca, AMERYUNarte. Ameryun es mi apellido. Hay triángulos que apuntan externo y interno. Esto se representa la energía y Amor que sentimos todos. Para mandar energía y Amor, traemos energía y Amor de entro de nosotros mismos.

Para sumir, el corazón de Kansas City para mi es un corazón de oro lleno de música, naturaleza, arte, espíritu del equipo y diversión.
