Angelea Busby and Jake Jacobson married in 2020 and live in Shawnee with their 18-month-old daughter, Colette, new baby, Noella (arriving in late August 2023) and three dogs, Biscuit, Poppy and Fletch. While pregnant with Colette, Angelea turned to drawing, crafting, sewing and embroidery as a creative outlet and form of art therapy to counter cabin fever during the height of the pandemic. With a usually busy social calendar canceled or moved online, Jake and Angelea spent much of their time enjoying the trails and parks around their home and throughout the metro.
