Festival of Connecting and Celebrating Cultures
What better way to show unity than by the city’s melting pot of culture brought together every year in an immersive fun-filled weekend at cultural festivals in KC. On one side of the sculpture shows performances, activities, and food we would experience. The other side presents a parade of flags, much like the parade of hearts, which shows the love and pride for our differences and what we celebrate in Kansas City.

Michelle A. Davison
Born and raised in Kansas City, I find inspiration from real life, stillness and movement, and nature. Having brief experience in art school then shifting careers, I was drawn back into what I love to do which is art. Whether a craft or wall piece, my focus is to create things that provoke feeling and memories experimenting through a range of mediums like graphite, charcoal, watercolor, and acrylic.
