Head in the Clouds
""Head in the Clouds"" celebrates next-level love that is true, big, and life-changing—the kind that helps us feel truly connected and fulfilled. The cloud-painted ring represents how transformative love, whether romantic or communal, lifts us above life's challenges while keeping us grounded in unity. At the center, a stained glass heart with ""KC"" etched in the middle symbolizes the profound connection we find when a community sees, upholds, and celebrates us through both our struggles and triumphs. And of course celebrates KC with the etched initials in the center of the stained glass.

Alex Cronin
I am a self-taught painter who began creating art out of necessity as a single mother wanting to decorate my home on a budget. Originally from the Chicago area, I've called Kansas City home for a decade, where I've built my career in marketing and raised my daughter. My work is inspired by themes of hope, love, and community connection, drawing influence from predominantly female artists like Minnesota-based Donna Bruni.
