Mending Hearts

Students in my art class believe our city needs to heal. The idea was to cover the heart in children’s Band-Aids. To create a more interesting image, we have decided to place them in a pattern which resembles a twill or herring bone pattern. Students in my class use band-aids to cover and hide their wounds. We feel this is what our city needs now more than ever.
