In Flanders Fields

Inspired by the poem written in WWI, ‘In Flanders Fields’ represents strength and peace, similar to what Kansas City is for many people. With a blue sky and blooming poppies, the end is reminiscent of the place many of us call home.

Samantha Myers

Originally from Topeka, I currently reside in Lawrence and work in Prairie Village with plans to move to KC post graduation. I am an industrial designer by trade, but enjoy sculpture and painting as my creative outlets. I am inspired by all things nature and history, and frequently paint portraits of animals.
