Kansas City – Heart of Gold

I was a hand-lettering artist and illustrator for Hallmark Cards for many years. I wanted to emphasize the lettering on my heart. I added illustrations that would be symbols of our city. I painted a rainbow to represent the peace and healing after the storm that we’ve been through these past two years. Despite our many differences, people came together to help and support each other. That’s why I believe the spirit of Kansas City is one of optimism and kindness. I hope I’ve depicted some of that with my KC heart.
