Somewhere Over the Rainbow
This piece is designed in honour of "The Wizard of Oz" in both of it's forms (The book and the movie) with a vibrant display of colour and imagination. The heart is meant to capture both the essence of a story that is so beloved by many while also bringing forth messages of hope, conservation, and a new tomorrow; somewhere over the rainbow.

Gwynevere Buie
Buie is a high school artist who has found enjoyment in exploring the story-telling aspect of art through detailed illustrations. She dabbles in many styles and mediums but especially favours watercolor and ink. Currently, she is surveying opportunities to study animation and/ or illustration after she graduates.
