The Colors of KC.
Side 2 is reference to Kansas City's rich jazz tradition and the mighty MO it sits above. Side 1 is the beauty and wonder of the Country Club Plaza and Brush Creek that winds through it and its fountains and architecture. A heart with be in the opening that I hope will rotate. And on the base I tried to have the Mighty Mo/skyline go around its side to then blend into The Plaza side, which is the brush creek. They will blend smoothly, though everything is busy and colorful yet controlled. Then in the middle of the heart opening, there will be a heart shaped object with one side, showing the fountain on the Plaza spraying water and it will look like it's connected to the rest of the heart image below it on the actual structure. And on the other side of the heart will be a microphone so that the outside jazz images reflect that everything goes to the to center visually and help you to image the music in one's head. It's all about drawing out people's emotions and perceptions of KC!
