I was born in Kansas City, raised in Lawrence, and have spent most of my adult life back in Kansas City. I primarily paint the Flint Hills of Kansas using pastels but have recently ventured into a graphic look using acrylics. My profession before raising a family was as a graphic designer and later as a graphic design instructor. I have won national and international awards for my work both as a graphic designer and pastel artist. My work has been published in books and magazines and can be found in private and corporate collections. I love the history and cultural heritage of Kansas City.
