Rich Contributions
I designed this heart to highlight the contributions of immigrants that make Kansas City and cities everywhere richer. The first side showcasing a traditional Mexican folk dancer and Kansas City silhouetted beside her represents the beautiful culture brought with them and shared amongst us. The second side depicts a Mexican farmer harvesting corn, one of the two main crops grown here, representing the hard work and dedication contributed by immigrants.

Artist Spotlight

Dani Fischer
I grew up right outside the Kansas City area and now live in the southern part of Kansas City, MO. I have been an artist decades and though I primarily work with painting, I enjoy dabbling in a wide range of mediums such as digital art, graphite, wood burning, and crochet. My work is traditionally nature based though now I often create art about anything that sparks inspiration which lately has been political based.
